'Best' diver training centre in Sydney?

Hey all,

This may be a silly question. I'm new to Sydney and am looking to complete my OW and AOW (to begin with)in Sydney and was wondering if anyone can reccomend the best PADI training location? I know there is Coogee, manly and CBD offices. I was just wondering if any of these, or others, people would strongly prefer?

Cheers

Try Pro Dive Manley. If not them, Pro Dive in general have very good reputation. Either way, look for a 5 star PADI dive Centre. High standards.

Pro Dive Manly definitely. 5 star dive centres don't mean as much as they used to. I've dived with a "5 star centre" that was rubbish. inadequate boat, bad equipment, and NO DIVE GUIDES.

It is one of the few places left in the world where a diver can see macro critters, pelagics, and big stuff, as well as fantastic soft and hard corals. The often misused and abused adjective “pristine” is actually appropriate here, due to low fishing pressure in the area in comparison to other areas of the Coral Triangle, no dynamite fishing, and thanks to a system implemented by dive resorts whereby local reef "owners" receiving a small fee for every diver that visits "their" reef. As a result elders make sure that the reefs are not fished.
