underwater fish/reef guides

Hi!

In one of the dive shops in Cairns I saw a small book which you can bring with you underwater when you go diving. You can cross off the list of fish in the back when you've seen them. I couldn't take it at the time, but I was wondering if somebody knows the ISBN code or title or something so I can order it online...

Thanks so much for your help!

Best wishes Angelique

Ps any other suggestions are also more than welcome!

Hi Angelique,

I dont know the exact book you are talking about, but it does sound like a great idea! At the dive centre I work for we sell a lot of the fish slates that you can take down while diving, they have a ring on them so you can clip them onto your BCD and then refer to them while you are on you dive. They are also not overly expensive. Im sure you can find those in any of your local dive centres or shops. Stickers are another things that are often popular and give you another dynamic to your logbook!!

For any other information on these things, or diving in general or diving in Thailand then please do not hesitate to contact me, Happy Diving!!! Emma

I joined Sue and big Mark (from the Byron Bay Dive Centre) and (to avoid missing anyone) the Seaworld crew, Marine Parks and Fisheries aboard the Seaworld boat this morning for a rescue attempt. My job was videographer for the underwater part of the operation. All of the shark wrangling was done by Seaworld staff.
