Hey Mike been to Palau a couple of times,WHAT AN EXPERIENCE,enjoyed looking at your images brought back memories.Just out of curiosity did you see a lot of sharks, when I say a lot like 50-60 on one dive.Went there in 2004 & it was very sharkey as the locals say,but in 2005 maybe 30 was the most on one dive.Heard rumours of shark finners trying to work the area although to that point most had been caught cheers Matt T

Hey Matt, Funny you sgould comment on the sharks. There were some sharks but not the abundance we expected. Most dive we would have a couple sharks at the least, out at the corner we had huge packs But none of the sharks were more than 4-6 foot. Small bulls, greys, black tips, occasional pelagic white tip- WOW....and of course the reef white tips everywhere. Ngdebus wall and little drop off had fair amounts too but again nothing large. We determined that the finners had nailed them pretty heard on 04-05. I guess they have been checking the docks regularly as well as boarding ships and inspecting. More power to the inspectors.... Damn finner...the should be arrested, mjailed, flogged and fed rotten chicken...eeewwww....

See you in the water....
