Marine research tourism

Hi all,

I was wondering if Underwater Subscribers would like to contribute my project titled ‘Development of marine research tourism across Australia’.

Overall this project is looking at the potential for marine research as an attraction for tourists across Australia. Tourists can range from holiday makers, wildlife tourists, school students, volunteers to trained scientists. Future marine research tourism development aims to increase public awareness, public policy, benefits to marine research programs, opportunities for marine interpretation and opportunities for marine tour operators.

Participation involves an online survey that takes about fourty minutes and then possible later discussions regarding prospective visions, missions, products and scenarios for marine research tourism across Australia.
