Hi Robert,
I have had many discussions on this destination. It is hardly know to the dive community as it is so hard to get to. I believe it is seasonal, and even the live-a-boards that travel there only go once or twis a year. (So i have been told)
Brilliant diving though, and i believe it is up there with Galapogus Is. etc...
I have had two of my customers go up there. True North is the opperator that they used. They had a brilliant time.
Good luck with the trip!
Yours Truly, Carl Fallon

Hi Robert
I'm booked to go to the Rowley Shoals at the end of October for 7 nights. The Rowley Shoals are 3 pear shaped atolls approx 260 miles north of Broome. It takes approximately 12 hours to travel there by boat. We're booked with Odyssey Expeditions - who are fabulous operators. We also went to the Abrolhos Island with them and if you want another truly amazing experience..go there.
We're very excited about the Rowley Shoals, rated as one of the best dive locations in the world. The shoals rise out of very deep water and are inhabited by large pegalics, including sail fish and whales. The shoals are also tidal with 5-7metre variances creating heart-stopping drift dives.
I'll be writing an article on our experiences when we return. Best wishes Hilary
