Philippine Diving

My husband and I are thinking of taking a dive trip to the Philippines. We'd really like to dive with the whale sharks and mantas. We would be staying for at least 14 days and would like a place on the beach so we can go snorkeling before or after our dives. I understand Donsol is the place to go for whale sharks and that Puerto Galera has excellent diving. We would like to stay at a place that is relatively out of the way and quiet and clean. What time of year would I not want to go? I am open to any advice or suggestions. Thanks

Laureen

Hi, my husband and I have been to Exotic Resort, north of Cebu. It was very nice! Dutch guy and his wife. Very nice diveguides aswell. For mantas; no better place as SANGALAKI, Indonesia.

Manta diving? nothing beats the Maldives.

May your bubbles be silent.

A Turtle Nursery At WakatobiA Turtle Nursery At Wakatobi
Sea Turtles can live to be 100 years old, but most don’t survive their first few days. In the wild, the tiny hatchlings typically encounter a gauntlet of predators as they hatch and make their way from beachside nests to open water, and they remain especially vulnerable those first few months of life. When nature is in balance, this attrition is a normal part of the circle of life. But when turtles become threatened by factors such as habitat loss, or predators like fish and birds, they may need a little extra help to maintain a normal population. This is where Wakatobi Dive Resort has stepped in.
