Hi David, i was just cruising around and saw your post and thought i might be able to add some insight for you. I have been a commercial diver for a while and have worked with graduates from both schools, and worked many contracts for Descend. Both schools offer a great course, however, in my opinion Descend has the edge for a couple of reasons. Firstly, they are not only a school but are working contractors and derive most f their income from this. This means that they are not just teaching it, they are activly out there doing it. They also offer nitrox, OH&S induction cards (now required on most sites) and upgraded sports qualifacation included in the course. The best advice i could give you, is not to take my, or anyone elses advice, but if you are able to call in on both schools, talk to the staff and have a tour of the facilities, this will help you decide. Any other queries on Commercial diving, give me a yell.

Weppo.
