Dive Jobs

I am looking to get a job doing something dive related after i finish my HSC in NSW in November '04 and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to go about getting one and where to go. I am currently a PADI Rescue Diver and have some experience with underwater digital photography. Any ideas would be great.

Giac Cavazzini added 2003-10-29: Get an Instructors ticket ASAP. And start teaching video courses and open water courses. Hard to do anything in the dive industry without a OWSI license. Pretty Hard to make money as a U/W photographer...its an expensive hobby. You will find most professionals make money elsewhere to support their hobby.
A few people out there try to make a living filming students but i dont know if thats viable....Isnt that right Tim!
But If you end up in the Aussi dive industry....dont do it for money

Tim Hochgrebe added 2003-10-30: That's right Giac ... you certainly won't get rich filming students, but most days it's a fun thing to do and if you have other sources of income it can be a fulfilling job - I've been doing it for 4 years now ... at least I get to go diving heaps, but be aware - filming underwater is real WORK, even though it sounds like the best job in the world.

Of course you could open a dive shop and CLEAN UP , right Giac ?

Paul added 2003-11-02: Thanks for your comments. But i didn't make this clear, but what i really want to do is work for the 3-4 months between the end of my HSC exams and the beginning of Uni. I want to get divemaster and instructor and was hoping to be able to do this while i worked. Any ideas now that i have made myself clear. Sorry for not making that clear.
