Jindabyne

Jindabyne is situated in the heart of Australia's Snowy Mountains and provides an excellent base for both summer and winter activities. During winter the Snowy Mountains live up to their name and provide an excellent range of snowplay activities including downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing.

Unfortunately often overlooked during the summer Lake Jindabyne is a true summer paradise and offers a full range of activities such as trout fishing, bushwalking, mountain bike riding, sailing and lake activities, a summer Jazz festival and of course views of one of the true engineering wonders of the modern world, the Snowy Mountains hydroelectricity scheme for which Lake Jindabyne was constructed.

There a variety of places to eat, a contemporary cinema showing up-to-the-minute films and a range of accommodation from caravan parks through to fully-serviced resorts.
