AOI LIMITED was founded in 1994 in Hong Kong by a team of experienced managers and engineering professionals. We first started manufacturing compact film cameras which then progressed to single-use cameras, single-use underwater cameras, and underwater digital camera housings. After years of intense product development and manufacturing excellence, AOI advanced into a professional OEM/ODM underwater camera casings and underwater electronic products manufacturer.

In order to grow our business into different dimensions, AOI decided to create products under our own brand name. To maintain the integrity of our AOI branding and to ensure no conflict with our current OEM/ODM clients’ businesses, we decided to focus on an unique product category which will increase our growth as well as our clientele, e.g., Underwater Optics. In 2014, AOI began to develop a series of Underwater Conversion Lenses and Lens Port Systems for underwater housings and market them under the AOI brand name.
