Tube Worm

The mouth of this tube worm is between the two eyes. When I took this photo I observed that the worm would secrete strands of saliva like substance, which I believe is what it uses to capture micro organisms. After several minutes I observed it would swallow the strands and then spit them out again. Anilao, Philippines.
