This photo of a squid was taken on a night dive near Milne Bay, Papua New Guinea during a liveaboard divetrip x-mas 2007. Due to the short focal length with the 100mm lens and the total darkness, it took quite a few frames to get this focused picture. I love the contrast, the alien like nature of the juvenile squid. Canon 20D with a Canon 100mm Macro lens in an Ikelite housing. Single Ikelite DS-125 strobe. Settings: ISO 100, F20, 1/100 sec.
