Not sure exactly what this is, some form of soft coral (I believe that it stings - not silly enough to test the theory). In the back ground there is a stinging hydroid (almost fern like) these I know sting - photo from GBR off Port Douglas.

This is a photo of a fish that I saw whilst diving at Lady Elliot Island recently. I am unable to identify it and no one on the island was able to either. Underwater.com.au's guess is this is a Leaf Scorpionfish (Taenianotus triacanthus) - agreed ?
