Rockingham Accommodation: Rockingham was first surveyed in 1847, it was gazetted as a town in 1897. In its early days, Rockingham was a busy port, shipping jarrah timber and sandalwood overseas. Now, as a satellite city in Perth's southern corridor, it is among Australia's fastest-growing residential districts.

Rottnest Island Accommodation: Diving is a very popular activity at Rottnest. Its varied limestone reef terrain, and plentiful fish make it a very interesting diving destination. In particular, diving for "Crays" or crayfish Western rock lobster, is popular among the locals in the summer months.

Fremantle Accommodation: Fremantle is a popular place for its nightlife, second only to Northbridge in Perth's CBD. It attracts people from all over the metropolitan region for its pubs, bars and nightclubs. It has an operational fishing boat harbour which contain markets and restaurants, developed as a tourist precinct.

Geraldton Hotels: Land was first surveyed and sub-divided in 1961 and the townsite was gazetted in 1961 as Snag Island, a name that is still in common use. Geraldton is close enough to find accommodation nearby.

Denham Accommodation: Denham survives as the gateway for the tourists who come to see the dolphins at Monkey Mia, which is located 23 km north-east of the town. The town also has an attractive beach and a jetty popular with those interested in fishing and boating.

Exmouth Hotels: Coral Bay is a small town on the coast of Western Australia, 1,200 km north of Perth. It exists primarily for tourism, with a side industry of fishing. The electricity for the town is provided by a wind-diesel hybrid system. Exmouth is just around the corner.

Exmouth Accommodation: Exmouth is one of the few areas in Australia that can boast the "Range to Reef" experience. The Cape Range National Park which has some spectacular gorges is an area of 506 square kilometres and its main area is focused on the west coast of the Cape which provides a large variety of camp sites on the coastal fringe of the Park.

Pilbara / Karratha Accommodation: Karratha in the local Aboriginal language means 'good country' or 'soft earth'. The town is the seat of government of the Shire of Roebourne.

Bowen Accommodation: Bowen is a jewel in the Whitsunday crown with untouched beaches, beautiful bays and a perfect tropical climate. Bowen is one of the undiscovered treats of Queensland and an ideal destination for those seeking a laidback beach holiday.

Noosa Accommodation: Located at the northern end of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, Noosa is renowned for its sundrenched beaches, powder white sand and a water temperature that invites year round swimming.

Papua New Guinea Accommodation: Tourism in Papua New Guinea is fledgling but there are many attractions for the potential visitor. These include culture, markets, festivals, diving, surfing, hiking, fishing and the unique flora and fauna.

Port Lincoln Accommodation: Port Lincoln is the Eyre Peninsula's second largest city, set on the shores of Boston Bay, Australia's largest natural harbour.

Diving Papua New Guinea - Milne Bay: by Chris Bartlett; It is one of the few places left in the world where a diver can see macro critters, pelagics, and big stuff, as well as fantastic soft and hard corals. The often misused and abused adjective “pristine” is actually appropriate here, due to low fishing pressure in the area in comparison to other areas of the Coral Triangle, no dynamite fishing, and thanks to a system implemented by dive resorts whereby local reef "owners" receiving a small fee for every diver that visits "their" reef. As a result elders make sure that the reefs are not fished.
