One look at the prognostic weather chart told me that we would not sail on schedule. The forecast was for 30 knot north-westerlies with gusts to 45 knots through out the night and for the next 24 hours.
Jagged rocky cliffs towering high above the water, seemingly insurmountable, visible from the numerous look-outs and of course the water. Known for its rich convict history, impressive cliff faces and incredible vistas Tasmania blew us - by now seasoned travellers - out off the water!
